Tennis pro – Maria Sharapova keeps perfectly fit in her thirties and it is all thanks to her intense workout 💪 routine.

In fact, Maria admits she’s never stuck to a diet and counted a single calorie. She likes, on the contrary, to treat herself with sweets!🍭 “I like the idea of going and working hard, and then coming home and treating yourself because it’s good for the mind,” she says. “And for me, it’s all about indulging in candy.”

So her striking physique is all thanks to her sport.

The Russian star admits she’s dedicated to her training regimen that includes five-to-six-hour-a-day workouts six days a week with only one day for rest and recovery.

“I train five or six times a week for six hours a day with my trainer, Yutaka Nakamura, or one of my coaches.”

Usual Sharapova’s Training Day includes:

stretching, a warm-up jog on the beach, tennis practice, core exercises, pilates, and interval sessions on the bike or on hills and sand dunes.

In addition to playing tennis, Sharapova also loves biking and yoga and gets the most out of her workouts by doing high-intensity cardio intervals and strength training.

Luckily for Sharapova, she doesn’t mind being so active because she’s a competitor at heart.

“No matter what time it is (3am jet lag!!) or where you are (in a cold AF basement gym in Germany), nothing like starting the day working on the body!”

While she doesn’t always enjoy her training regimen, she loves what it helps her achieve.


“I love to compete a lot, and the practice always helps obviously,” she told Shape Magazine in a recent interview.
