Tennis world is happy to see Juan Martin Del Potro back on courts and his matches have drawn so match attention so far in this year. His comeback journey started in Delray Beach where he made it to the semi-finals where he was stopped by American Sam Querrey and now next tournament on his schedule is season’s first Master’s 1000 in Indian Wells.
His Indian Wells campaign started well as he beat local player Tim Smyczek in straight sets, 6-4 6-0 and next up for him was top-ten player Tomas Berdych who in the end was too much for him as he beat him with 7-6 6-2 result in the end. First set could have gone either way but that can’t be said for the second set which was dominated by the Czech who took full control of that set. Berdych was facing a break-point which he had successfully saved and then Del Potro comes on the scene as he walks over and gives his racquet to a random official.
The Tower of Tandil is well known for his kindess, generousity and is one of the most loved tennis player on the ATP Tour. This video is a great example of that.
