Just keep getting better, focusing on what I’m working on in practice, and just letting the rest unfold!
I would love to be able to play a full WTA schedule. That’s obviously the goal when you turn pro. You also have to be sure you’re playing enough matches. Sometimes you have to go back and play some ITFs.
People are putting a lot more emphasis on staying fit in the gym, so do I.
I am not the best in anything but i can improve in all.
I remind myself every day how lucky I am to live my dream. I never knew going into it (tennis), how awesome it is.
My dad always told me that nothing good ever came from sitting on the couch.
I collect one tea cup from every new country that I visit because tea time sounds so nice. Hopefully my children can appreciate the collection one day.
I honestly can’t really say what my worst loss was because I try to forget about bad matches really quickly!
My sister and I can never watch a tennis match on television without analyzing it.
I would love to play against Serena. Even though she’s a current player she’s obviously made plenty of history herself. I just think it would be an amazing memory and I would love to be able to tell my grandkids that I played Serena.
I love Ellie Goulding’s ‘Anything Could Happen.’ It is my go-to dance jam at the end of the day! And it is definitely the song for my trip to England this year(2016).
I enjoy my tennis if I’m constantly learning and not becoming stagnant in approaches, ideas, or drills.
I look up to Sarah (sister) so much and want to listen what she says. Plus, we’re throw hotel room dance parties when we’re on the road and it’s always fun. We have our moments as we’re together all the time, and it’s really a functional relationship.
My family and I are always wondering when I’m going to come back home. It’s tough with my schedule to find a week where I’m not competing or training, but I try to back home at least once a year.
England, I would live here in a heartbeat. It has a special place in my heart.
