Djokovic to beat Federer’s record? Too early – Boris Becker

It’s a sort of custom that when Nadal or Djokovic have a great year a big debate come through about if Rafa or Nole will beat Federer’s slam record (17).

Djokovic has been in Serbinator mode during the last few years and he has just won his 11th slam, so… is he ready to eclipse Roger’s record? That’s a bit early to say according to Nole’s coach Boris Becker.

During a recent interview, the German commented “At the moment I think that’s far-fetched, it’s not something we talk about.

That’s not on our agenda and quite frankly not our goal. The goal is to play this year as well as possible, win as many tournaments and Grand Slams as we can. And that’s it.”

Probably Nole’s main goal this year will be to win an elusive Roland Garros, the only slam he is missing.
