Jo-Wilfried Tsonga's Family
French mother, Évelyne is a teacher and his Congolese father, Didier Tsonga, is a former handball player and chemistry teacher.
Jo’s parents met each other and married in France. In the 1970s his father moved there to become a great handball player.
Unlike his elder sister, Sarah, who is not fond of sports, his cousin Maël Lépicier plays for Congo at the Belgian KSV Roeselare FC.
Enzo , younger brother, much like Jo, has been inspired to play sports and is part of the French junior basketball program.
Since late 2014 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is in a relationship with Noura El Shwekh, a Swiss. She constantly follows him on the ATP tour.
Formerly Tsonga was dating Charlotte Deon.
